Staff member Susan Summers saw a female monarch in the front garden of the Virginia Living Museum, 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News VA, 37 degrees 04'08" Lat. 76 degrees 28'56" Long. The adult was in good wing condition, so it was first generation removed from the overwintering adults in Mexico. She landed on a native Columbine in bloom, but did not feed, just rested. Welcome back, a week early!
