After 2 very warm days at the beginning of the week, our tulips bloomed on April 29th. The good news is that we only lost 2 bulbs in the snowplow incident, out of twenty planted! They are really a beautiful variety of tulip--truly regal!
We planted some yellow daffodils in the middle of the bed and it makes a pretty disply.
A note on the incredibly precocious tulip that bloomed at the home of one of the students about a month ago--his father reports that not only was it planted near the house, but right under the dryer vent! So,Woburn students, you were correct--there was something funny with the data!
