Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/06/2003

Number: 1

6 hatchings of larvae today even though temps were in the 60s. First eggs were sighted 8 days ago and the weather since the laying has been unusually cool. There may not be enough common milkweed to go around to feed the 60 eggs that have been laid on approx. 20 plants!
