We have a butterfly garden on the south side of our brick building. Our milk weed in that garden has sent up shoots and now nice leaves. The students at our school planted it last year as a project for Earth Day. But only 5 blocks away I have milkweed in my garden and that is not up yet. It is not as sheltered as the garden at school. The milkweed in the ditches around town is not up yet either.
