Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/10/2003

Number: 1

We finally have a Hummer at the feeders. A little female took a long drink, rested on the perch and then flew off across a field. I watched her the best I could and for as long as I could. Her path was deliberate and straight. I think she was not home yet. This is a real late date for their return to our neck of the woods. Glad to see them back in the area.
