Well, it's way too early for Monarchs in Connecticut (though I have seen Azures, Cabbage Whites, Clouded Sulphurs, and Eastern
Tiger Swallowtails!), but the milkweed has started to sprout!
Checked my garden yesterday--delighted to see that both my a.
syriaca and a. tuberosa that I started from seed last year were
coming up. Bring on the Monarchs!
