This year, we put the feeders up before May 1st. We first saw a male for 2 days. Then, we are currently observing a female. Our feeders are quite simple. Store-bought 4-flowers feeders filled to half until the hummers start coming. Also, having huge cedars right next to the feeders help the little ones to come and go and rest as they please.
