Saw first Monarch of the season! One worn individual migrating north-northeast across the bike path ca. 100 feet east of the Haber Road-Elwood Drive intersection. Ca. 3:15 p.m. CDT. Mostly sunny, steady south wind ca 15 mph. Also saw three Painted Ladies (Vanessa cardui) migrating toward the north or north-northeast.
