I was my first Monarch of the year this afternoon at a grocery store plant sale! Some of my milkweed is up and growing, so we are ready! Today I also released a Black Swallowtail butterfly that I raised last fall, and over-wintered (as a chrysalis) in a netting cage out-of-doors . It was a lucky 13th!
