Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/15/2003

Number: 1

The sun peeked out for a short while here in cloudy and gloomy NJ and I took my motorcycle out of the garage to start cleaning it up. I looked up and saw an adult monarch float by and energtically flap its way toward the NE. Not 20 mins later the sun retreated and more clouds and showers moved in. This is the earliest I have ever seen a monarch here in NW NJ>
