Here in the Milwaukee area I have not seen any monarchs BUT did find 9
eggs on my milkweeds and they are growing well in my home. In past years
I would have seen monarchs by now. I have seen ONLY one admiral and
cabbage butterfly - that's it! (I am not including the gypsy moth larvae
for which we got sprayed but I am still seeing some on our trees.)
Unusual and perhaps due to our very cool and rainy spring?
