I began seeing an increase in monarchs and
fritillaries last week on June 13th both at home and
at my school garden 25 miles away. There were both
tattered females and fresh ones. Yesterday, I noticed
many monarch eggs on my milkweed which has been in
full bloom for awhile, these were the first eggs I
have noticed this year at either place.
