Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/20/2003

Number: 1

Our showy milkweed is in full bloom right now. We also spotted a monarch
chrysalis yesterday. Monarchs have been regularly seen ever since their
spring arrival in mid-April. Spider milkweed (A. viridis) was utilized a
lot by the first generation as caterpillar chow.
