Six Mile Lake, Muskoka, Twp Georgian Bay Ontario...my husband Mike Waller found a monarch on the side of the road today. it was in danger of being run over so stopped and put it in the car and drove home with it. when he got home we let it out of the car in our garden. it was slightly damaged on one leg and seemed not too want to fly. we left it alone on a flower and kept checking on it. after about two hours it flew away.
