Friday and Saturday we noticed a swarm of monarchs around the milkweed pots on my deck. My husband spotted about seven on Friday and I saw two more on Saturday. My observation showed a female laying eggs. I counted about 20 eggs on four milkweed plants. My students will be raising these monarchs and then releasing them. We are always learning something new about this amazing creature!
