The female Rose breasted Grosebeak is bringing two young to the feeder. Lots of fun to see them trying to get to the feeder. The two sets of Indigo Buntings have left after a storm a few weeks ago. The winds took the electric for 4 days and also took out the Eagle's nest down along the river. Just the cup remained. They have been back and yesterday I spotted both adults at the remains. Fortunately, the young had fledged two weeks prior to all this. Also had the joy of watching a butterfly lay eggs on my Dill plants and am now watching the catipillars grow. No Robins, but lot of berries on the Mountain Ash tree to start them on their journey south.
