My fourth grade class planted milkweed last fall outside our classroom. We began finding caterpillars on it about two weeks ago. At this point, we have raised and released a female Monarch, and have several chrysalides in our room. We also have a new patch of eggs on our milkweed plants, so we look forward to releasing many new Monarchs. We have sighted a total of 6 Monarchs flying over our school. A couple have been nectaring in our classroom garden. Armuchee Elem., Ruth Pinson
