Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/29/2003

Number: 1

One Monarch, seemingly the same one, has been nectaring on Asclepius tuberosa and other flowers in my garden 08/28-08/30.
It looks somewhat battered but still flying well.

Editor's Note: This observation was moved by Journey North staff from "Migration Sighting" to "Monarch (OTHER Observations)" due to questions surrounding late summer monarch sightings at southern latitudes. (See discussion.)
