The first of 16 larva we are raising came out of his (it's a boy!) chrysalis today. Two more are due in a few days, and the rest are still crawling on milkweed. It has been fun guessing when they are about to "hang" and then we move them to our living room where they become chrysalises on our dryed flower and branch arrangement. Interestingly, the inside (AC set to 72 degrees) added 2 days to the normal pupa time. We'll see if this trend continues.
