We were called to a home in Bronson, Iowa, (about 5 miles east of Sioux City) with the report that their grove was full of butterflies. We must have seen close to 1,000 Monarch butterflies. They told us that Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, there had been more than there was Sunday evening.
