Signs of Fall

Date: 09/07/2003

Number: 1

After 5 1/2 inches of rain in two days, things are looking up!! A brightly colored Monarch appeared today along with the 75 degree temperature and beautiful blue skies. The leaves are changing everyday and starting to fall. One female Ruby Throat remains. The feeders are down now,so she should be moving on. The Monarch left in a south westerly direction. A Doe and her fawn appeared on the driveway early, headed towards the brook for a drink. I guess.
