Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/08/2003

Number: 1

We have noticed more monarchs all summer--and "our's" seemed to have left only a few stragglers last week. Last night we had several hundred roosting in trees. This morning the students reported seeing "lots" of monarchs outside flying away. My class went out and counted over 100 flying by in 10 minutes!
