A monarch butterfly was on our butterfly bushes this afternoon. It was on the white ones, which most of the monarchs seem to like. I scared it and it flew South with the wind. We are also raising 4 monarch butterflies that I was given by a staff at work. They have gone into the cocoon stage and are most likely going to hatch soon. I hope they emerge very soon so I can let them go before it gets cold or something.
