we have had several monarchs in our gardens over the last 3 weeks - laying eggs - we have collected about 70 caterpillars - the milkweed has been scarce this year - matured early - many aphids and other critters on the leaves but we are trying to give them fresh food each day - last year we raised and tagged 139 and we'll see how many we get this year -
