Egg laying activity continues in the Choctaw Trails milkweed stands in southwest Jackson, MS. Yesterday afternoon (Sept. 9) several females were observed in oviposistion activity and more than 60 eggs were observed on Asclepias viridis. On Saturday (Sept. 6) about 50 eggs were collected from the same field for distribution to elementary teachers in the Clinton area.
