Today at 11:30 a.m. Central Time I saw a monarch in my garden. We have not had rain for over a month except for .01 yesterday so I hurried out to water my mud patch. I saw a second monarch or the same one again at 4:30 pm. These are the first monarchs I have seen since August 30th. It was just loitering around and certainly not in any hurry to go anywhere.
