Our fifth grade class has been looking in our land lab and we've
seen about 6 or 7 monarchs a day.We have six chrysalids in our terriumm and we've realesed 3 butterflies. Our land lab is such a nice place for monarchs and other kinds of butterflies. We have found monarch caterpillars on butterfly weed and milkweed.Have you ever heard of monarch caterpillars eating pea vine? Spanish students from our high school helped us transelate our butterflies to send to Mexico. One of our chrysalids was destroyed by a parasite.
