The monarchs have arrived in Sidney, IA and the Loess Hills area near Sidney. The first large groups were spotted the evening of Sept 8th. Each evening there seem to be more monarchs hanging in the trees. They are in the same groups of trees as the last two years. On Sept. 11th we saw approximately 150 monarchs on two trees. It has been unusually cool this week.
