We sent our second Team of 7th graders to the wetlands in Lawrence today
with 214 tags and they ran out in less than an hour. The skies were
partly cloudy with fairly strong south winds. It was reported to me
that the Monarchs seemed content roosting in the trees along the
boardwalk. One student caught 8 in a single swoop of his net.
We will send our third Team of 7th graders on Friday.
