Last Sunday,(9/21) in the field in back of our house, we saw Monarchs in a large number..they were landing on the wild alfalfa. We caught, tagged and released 12 of them(seven female, five male)..so let us know...down South if you see initials on the wings! It was a warm and beautiful afternoon and the Monarchs abundant. That prior week we had seen about 40 Monarchs per minutes flying across this area.
