Some 5 Monarchs observed in the morning about 9 AM, slight wind, about 55 degrees, sunny. Monarchs seen flying in a S/SW direction, going straight over a one-story building after nectaring at goldenrod.
Painted ladies seen also, seem to be almost tame; maybe they were still cool from night. Is that possible?
