My 6th grade homeschooled daughter Samantha came across a monarch in our herb garden that may have had a damaged wing. She was able to pick it up and we took her picture with it. She put it back on a bush and we think it eventually flew away. We have a good picture of it we could send you. We are live in a rural area outside Pittsburgh and the monarchs are not plentiful but a common sight in our area. We only see single ones though.
