My husband and I went out this weekend to tag Monarchs. Near Russellville, AR. we tagged 163 Monarchs in one field. We had to stop tagging because we ran out of tags. Still lots of Monarchs left in the field. This was on Monday, Sept. 29th. On Saturday 27th, and Sunday 28tth and Monday 29th we have tagged 525 Monarchs. This is the most we have ever seen and I believe it must be the peak.
