My husband saw a monarch laying eggs on Friday. Saturday I saw the same
thing. Today I went behind the laying female and collected about 8 eggs then lost
track of her. Later I found her in my other garden and collected another egg
after she deposited it. These guys are really going to be late hatching.
I'm in Burl. Co., NJ, about 12 miles East of Philadelphia. I'm still seeing a
steady number flying thru my yard.
