Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/29/2003

Number: 1

I have been observing 25 or so per hour each day for the past week. Further to the north at my mothers house she has a bush that attracts no less than 15 specimens at a time (as soon as you walk by the side walk they flutter and trade places ,some fly off and new ones fly in so its hard to set numbers to the observation but it is spectacular.) This goes on all day long for the past month. Back at my post here one landed on my car (which was parked) It did have a slightly wounded wing so I let it rest before it continued oneward.
