We had a great time planting the tulips during one of the coldest weeks in September that I can remember! I shouldn't really say I, when my student teacher was the one who braved the cold and I was the one who stayed indoors and disected a tulip bulb with the children who were waiting their turn to go out. Anyway, it was an excellent learning experience and I am waiting for the things we can learn this winter and spring!
