We planted 32 tulips in our class garden on Thursday, October 9, 2003. Our school garden is called "Nature's Nest". We have 25 students in 5th grade this year, but decided to plant several extra bulbs just in case one or two do not make it or in the event we receive a new student. We have made a double bar graph of our emerging and blooming predications. I think it is important to integrate subjects when ever possible!
