This is the first time our school has participated in the Journey North Project. Both of our third grade classrooms and our two sixth grade classrooms worked together to get the planting completed. We planted 100 bulbs; all in front of our school sign. Our school is closing after this year and we thought it would be something beautiful we could leave behind. We had a beautiful fall day to plant, but it did take a lot longer than we had originally thought. Still, it was fun to be out in the sun and the unusually warm, fresh air.
