The goals for my 3rd grade students is that they learn about environmental protection and life cycle of butterflies. As we observe the beautiful Monarch butterflies cross our country right through our very own community, I want my students to become a part of and experience the satisfaction of helping the butterflies reach their destination.. We are in the process of planting our butterfly garden and ordering the tools necessary to track their migration. We are all very excited about this project-based learning experience.
