Sunday, 12th of October, at 11:50 a.m. began a drive across the Causeway (26 Miles) to Metairie, LA (a suburb of New Orleans, LA) which ended at 12:40 p.m.. In total I counted 60 heading west south west.

Today, 13th, back at Sunset Point, Mandeville, LA 70448, (St. Tammany Parish), in a fairly fresh morning, 10:40 a.m., The Monarchs were there, with partly sunny weather, some periods of overcast, but then breaking into only high clouds looking to be moving south. The Monarchs were nectaring on lantana, as opposed to available goldrenrod, (the preference in my garden, 129 Miles to the north), wild verbena, and one of the white eupatoriums, which was their choice last weekend throughMonday. Netted and tagged three today.
