The 4th graders of our 3rd/4th Multi-age Team planted tulip bulbs today on a crisp, windy day. We had prepared the bed by cleaning out the annuals that were planted there last spring, and we raked and hoed the soil so it was smooth. We had already sketched our bulbs in our journals. Many students thought the tulip bulbs looked somewhat like the garlic cloves that we harvested from our garden at the beginning of the school year!
