We are one of the 2 third grade classes that planted a Red Emperor Tulip Journey North garden on October 21st. We divided our garden into eights. Half of the garden is for Mrs. Russell's class and the other half is for our class. We planted 13 bulbs in 2 sections, following the Journey North directions. We decided to change one variable in the remaining two sections of the garden. In the third area we planted 9 bulbs upside down. In our last section, we planted 9 bulbs facing east. Mrs. Russell's class also decided to change one variable in each of their sections of the garden and we will compare our results with theirs. Then,we will compare our results with other classes on the Journey North web site. We are excited to be part of this program.-Mrs. Mass's Class Beall E.S.
