Our third graders will be observing, researching, and exploring the life cycle, migration, and habitats of the Monarch Butterfly. Part of this observation will include real life butterflies. We will be growing a garden to help sustain butterfly reproduction and help in their migrating pattern from Mexico to Canada. We will tracking and recording their journey. The results will be given as part of the summative record for further study in our science curriculum.
