Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/30/2003

Number: 1

Today ,Oct.30,03 Captured and released female monarch feeding on budlea butterfly bush .Yesterday 10/29/03 , male was released also from the same butterfly bushes . It's been some time now since a large group of monarchs came through ,so I believe these are monarchs that have been producing young here and are now hatching . Although it has been down to about 33 degrees here ,it is now hitting 70 in the day and only about 50 at night . Many other butterflies are flying such as the fall form Buckeye which also migrates here to breed all summer.
