On an incredibly glorious New England autumn afternoon, 42 2nd graders along with teachers and 11 parent volunteers planted 100 Red Emperor tulip bulbs. We planted the bulbs in our Downey School courtyard. We added compost we had made(complete with worms)to the soil along with some bone meal. It was so much fun!
