Thanks to the help of a parent, our tulip garden, damaged by the snow plow last winter, was repaired. We planted our new bulbs on a cold, windy and wet day last week. There were actually snow flurries later that afternoon. Since I teach a multiage first/second grade, my second graders fondly remembered last year's planting on a much warmer October day. We found a number of last year's bulbs and were interested to see how they had developed into clusters of small bulbs.
