Today we planted the last of our bulbs. It is several weeks after our original planting. We had to stop our first planting because we could not dig deep enough with our trowels. There was too much clay in the soil. Then it started to rain and it got cold and we thought we might need to plant the rest of our bulbs indoors. But, it is Indian summer today and the temperature is near 80. We borrowed a regular shovel from the janitor and we were back out planting today. We will conduct a test to see if our tulips bulb on different dates since they were planted on different dates. We wrote short reports from the point of view of the tulip to describe how our physical environment would effect us. We would be happy to share information with other students.
