On October 31, we planted half of our tulips. It was a lovely day in the mid 70's - a great day to be out of the classroom. We are going to plant the other half 2 weeks later to see if when we plant makes a difference in blooming time. This year we used a bulb planting tool with a long handle to make the holes and plant the tulips. Teta is very hopefull that her tulip will bloom on her birthday March 21st.
