Two classes from the 7th grade Red House are participating in the Journey North Project this year. The Hemlocks and the Blue Spruces finally managed to plant tulips on Wednesday November 5. We had a lot of trouble finding free days with weather that was good enough to let us work outside. Ultimately, we planted our tulip bulbs in the rain. Both classes planted an official garden. The two official gardens are on opposite sides of the school. On Thursday November 6, both classes had an opportunity to plant experimental bulbs. The experimental bulbs did not follow all the planting instructions. We are eager to see what the differences will be between our official gardens and our experimental bulbs.
