I received an email to participate in the monarch sightings from Florida from Journey North. We definitely have some monarchs flying around in ones and twos, active over at least the last 4 weeks, but we have been unable to spot any migratory behavior, just flitting around our state parks, and our yard once ot twice (we planted milkweed last year), and along the roadside. We didn't see them in the summer. There are a lot more fritallary butterflies in this area than monarchs. Hope this is helpful?
